The Traditional International Taekwon-Do Federations differs from other organizations in many ways. In the beginning the organization was structured much like other organizations like the ITF and Kukkiwon. We found that this structure did not prevent politics and corruption. Therefore at the end of 2019 we eliminated all these positions within the federation.

Now all schools work directly with the headquarters and are automatically a member of that countries National Governing Body (NGB). As a member of the NGB all schools are equal under the federation's charter regardless of rank.
